Very Rev. T Simon Abraham Cor Episcopa
Belongs to Thengumthottathil Sakha and was Patron of Ayroor Thayillam Kudumbayogam

He was the youngest son of Thengumthottathil Sheemon
and was one of the High priests in Thayillam Family. It
was the wish of everybody to make him a priest and
build own church. He completed his Theological studies
Mathews Mar Athansios Metrapolitan
Since he was a scholar in Syriac many disciples used to
stay along with him to learn Syriac.
As per the wish of Family members to have a church he
donated his own land in place of land for the Church and
cemetery. The foundation stone of the Mathapara
Church was laid by Parumala Mar Gregoreos
Metrapolitan. The same day he was elevated to Cor
Episcopa.

He had a son Shemon and two daughters.
He became ill and died on 8th January 1912. He was buried next to the Matbaha of
Mathapara Church, Ayroor.
